QuaranTune #4: "Come What May" from Moulin Rouge! The Musical

A show tune a day keeps the quarantine blues at bay...

Today's "QuaranTune" is dedicated to Broadway favorite Aaron Tveit, who has confirmed he has tested positive for COVID-19. The current leading man of Moulin Rouge! The Musical tweeted:

Hey everyone. I just wanted to update you all that I've found out that I've tested positive for Covid-19. I've been in quarantine since Broadway shows shut down on Thursday, March 12th, and I'm feeling much better....

Aaron burst onto the Broadway scene as Link Larkin in Hairspray in the summer of 2006 and has since gone on to play Fiyero in the musical sensation Wicked, and has originated the roles of Gabe in Next to Normal and Frank Abagnale, Jr. in Catch Me If You Can. He's also widely known for his TV roles as Trip van der Bilt on The CW's "Gossip Girl" and as Agent Mike Warren on "Graceland" on the USA Network. And if that wasn't enough, he also starred as Danny Zuko in 2016's "Grease: Live" on Fox, as Enjolras in the 2012 film adaptation of Les Misérables, and as Roger in 2010's RENT at The Hollywood Bowl.

But for now, Aaron is embedded in Broadway fans' hearts as Christian, the hopeless romantic and gifted writer who becomes intwined in the tragic love story of the Moulin Rouge...

Come What May, Aaron will be back to 100% and back on the stage of the Al Hirschfeld Theatre before we know it. We wish you well, Aaron...

And there's no mountain too high, No river too wide, Sing out this song and I'll be there by your side. (Christian and Satine, Moulin Rouge! The Musical)
