Welcome to the Moulin Rouge! Kelsie Watts will join the cast of Moulin Rouge! The Musical on Broadway, starring as Satine beginning March 24.
Watts rose to fame as a contestant on The Voice and gained further fame for her viral singing videos on social media. She made her Broadway debut as Jane Seymour in Six in 2025, earning an iHeart Radio Music Award nomination for Favorite Broadway Debut.
As previously announced, Arianna Rosario will play Satine from March 3-22, and current star Meg Donnelly departs March 1.
Adapted from the Oscar-winning Baz Luhrmann film, Moulin Rouge! The Musical follows the star-crossed romance between writer Christian and showgirl Satine, set to dozens of contemporary pop hits. The 10-time Tony Award-winning Best Musical will play at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre through July 26, ending its Broadway run after seven years.
