'Moulin Rouge! The Musical' to host digital lottery
The musical resumes performances September 24.
Everybody can-can ... get tickets to Moulin Rouge! The musical announced the return of its digital lottery program for all performances starting September 28. The show reopens at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre September 24.
The lottery will open for entries each Monday at 10 a.m. It will close the day prior to each weekday performance at 9:59 a.m. and on Fridays at 9:59 a.m. for weekend performances. Entrants can request one or two tickets for $34 each.
All audience members must present proof of vaccination to enter the theatre for all performances through October 31. Read more about vaccination requirements and COVID-19 safety policies at Broadway shows.
Moulin Rouge! is set in the titular Bohemian Paris nightclub at the turn of the 20th century. Based on the landmark 2001 film and incorporating dozens of new, contemporary songs, it follows the writer Christian and his fated romance with star nightclub showgirl Satine.
