It's going to be a hot girl spring at Moulin Rouge! The Musical! Grammy Award-winning rapper Megan Thee Stallion will make her Broadway debut in the show this spring, performing from March 24 to May 17 at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre.
Megan Thee Stallion is best known for hit songs including "Hot Girl Summer," "Savage," "Body," and "Sweetest Pie." For her music career, she has won three Grammy Awards, six BET Awards, five BET Hip Hop Awards, four American Music Awards, four MTV Video Music Awards, and a Billboard Women in Music Award.
She has ventured into the theatre world with her appearances in two movie musicals: Dicks: The Musical and Mean Girls, for which she made an onscreen cameo and performed the song "Not My Fault" with Reneé Rapp for its soundtrack. As an actress, Megan has also appeared in TV shows including P-Valley, Big Mouth, She-Hulk, and The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins.
In Moulin Rouge! The Musical, she will play nightclub emcee Zidler, making her the first female-identifying performer in the role in any production of the show worldwide. She succeeds Bob the Drag Queen, who plays his final performance March 22, as previously announced.
