Bob the Drag Queen to make Broadway debut in 'Moulin Rouge! The Musical'
The drag star, actor, author, and comedian recently seen on The Traitors will join the Tony Award-winning show for a two-month limited engagement in 2026.

Welcome to the Moulin Rouge! Bob the Drag Queen will make his Broadway debut in Moulin Rouge! The Musical, playing the role of Harold Zidler from January 27 to March 22 at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre.
Bob the Drag Queen is known for competing on season 8 of RuPaul’s Drag Race, winning the title of "America’s Next Drag Superstar," and on season 3 of The Traitors. He also won a Peabody Award, a GLAAD Media Award, and a Television Academy Honors recognition for co-hosting HBO's first unscripted show, We’re Here, as well as a Queerty Award and a GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Podcast for co-hosting Sibling Rivalry with Monét X Change.
“Being on Broadway has always been a dream of mine," Bob said in a statement. "I moved to NYC almost 17 years ago to pursue it. Some roads take a while.”
Bob will step into the role of Harold Zidler, currently played by Wayne Brady through November 9. Robert Petkoff, who stars as Zidler in the national tour of Moulin Rouge!, will play the role on Broadway from November 11 to January 25.
The current cast also includes Christian Douglas as Christian, Ashley Loren as Satine, and Taye Diggs as The Duke of Monroth. As previously announced, Diggs will depart on September 28, and David Harris will assume the role.
Winner of 10 Tony Awards including Best Musical, Moulin Rouge! The Musical follows the star-crossed romance between writer Christian and showgirl Satine in the title nightclub. The stage adaptation of Baz Luhrmann's film features over 40 pop hits spanning seven decades.
