Welcome (back) to the Moulin Rouge! Christian Douglas and Ashley Loren are the next stars of Moulin Rouge! The Musical on Broadway, joining the production at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre on July 22 as Christian and Satine, respectively.

Douglas makes his Broadway debut after playing Christian on Moulin Rouge! The Musical's national tour, while Loren returns to the role of Satine after performing it on Broadway from 2022-23. She was also part of the original Broadway cast.

They replace current stars Jordan Fisher and Solea Pfeiffer, who depart Moulin Rouge! The Musical on July 20. As previously announced, Wayne Brady and Taye Diggs will join the production alongside Douglas and Loren, respectively replacing Boy George as Harold Zidler and Andy Karl as the Duke of Monroth.

Adapted from Baz Luhrmann's Oscar-winning film, the 10-time Tony Award-winning Moulin Rouge! The Musical follows the star-crossed love story of writer Christian and courtesan Satine at the title nightclub in turn-of-the-century Paris, set to pop songs from the 1940s to the 2010s.
