Durant will join the cast as Harold Zidler, a role he originated on the musical's first national tour and briefly played on Broadway in 2019. Wright will join as the Satine alternate, playing the leading role for one performance per week.

They will respectively replace current cast members Boy George and Oyoyo Joi, who both play their final performance on May 12.

The current Moulin Rouge! The Musical cast also includes Courtney Reed as Satine, Derek Klena as Christian, André Ward as Toulouse-Lautrec, David Harris as The Duke of Monroth, Ricky Rojas as Santiago, and Sophie Carmen-Jones as Nini.

Based on Baz Lurhmann's hit 2001 movie musical, Moulin Rouge! The Musical follows the tragic love story of writer Christian and showgirl Satine in turn-of-the-century Paris. The show incorporates over 40 pop songs from the 1940s to today.
