You can-can-can see a new Moulin Rouge! The Musical Broadway cast, as Ricky Rojas and Sophie Carmen-Jones join the company. The pair will begin performances at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre on April 11, the same day Joanna “Jojo” Levesque takes over the role of Satine.

Ricky Rojas created the role of Santiago in Moulin Rouge! The Musical, starring in the Boston and Broadway productions. He’s also starred in Sister Act, Grease, Burn the Floor and Flashdance in London.

Sophie Carmen-Jones takes over the role of Nini. She previously originated the role of Nini in the West End company of Moulin Rouge! The Musical.

As well as Levesque, the cast from April 11 will include Derek Klena as Christian, Eric Anderson as Harold Zidler, André Ward as Toulouse-Lautrec and David Harris as The Duke of Monroth. Currently, the cast features Tony winner Aaron Tveit as Christian, Ashley Loren as Satine, and Jessica Lee Goldyn as Nini.

Moulin Rouge! The Musical is based on Baz Luhrmann's film of the same name about the courtesan Satine and writer Christian, who fall into a fated romance at the title nightclub in 1899 Paris. The show features dozens of pop hits from various decades, from "Your Song" to "Bad Romance."
