The international Irish dance phenomenon known as Riverdance celebrates its 25th Anniversary Show at Radio City Music Hall in March 2020, marking the company's first return to the iconic venue in ten years.
Originally rising to fame during the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest, Riverdance went on to be developed into a full-length stage production, composed by Bill Whelan and directed by John McColgan, which broke all box office records during its 1995 world premiere engagement in Dublin. Over the past 25 years, the show has been performed all over the globe, including lauded runs in London, New York, and countless cities across Europe, North America, Asia, South Africa, South America, and Oceania.
Riverdance's first international tour was launched at Radio City Music Hall in March 1996, making this new production a homecoming of sorts for the Irish dance troupe.
