Steve Carell

Steve Carell makes his Broadway debut in the title role of Uncle Vanya at the Vivian Beaumont Theater on Broadway from April 2.

Carell is best known as the hilariously inept regional manager Michael Scott in the American version of The Office, a role that earned him widespread acclaim and a Golden Globe Award. Carell's film career includes The 40-Year-Old Virgin, which he co-wrote and starred in; Foxcatcher, which earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor for his portrayal of the eccentric John du Pont; and the voice of the supervillain Gru in the animated Despicable Me series.

His other best-known screen credits include the films The Big Short, Little Miss Sunshine, and Battle of the Sexes, and the Apple TV+ series The Morning Show.
