Stories By Heart began its evolution at Lincoln Center Theater in 2008, during a series of special repertory presentations, directed by Jack O'Brien, where beloved Emmy and Tony Award-winning actor John Lithgow would regale the audience with a different story each night. The one-man show has subsequently evolved, been presented at theatres around the United States, and finally, the Roundabout Theatre Company's Broadway premiere of John Lithgow: Stories By Heart is the culmination of this theatrical project.

G. Wodehouse.
