Irish Repertory Theatre will officially kick off its upcoming 2019-2020 Off-Broadway season with a revival of Conor McPherson's Dublin Carol, directed by Ciarán O’Reilly, which is scheduled to begin previews on the Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage on September 20, 2019, ahead of an official opening on October 1 and a limited run through November 10, 2019. Synopsis: "John Plunkett is haunted by memories of a shameful past and shattered life. On Christmas Eve, an unexpected visit from his estranged daughter, Mary, forces John to confront his demons and grapple with his chance at redemption."
