Bridesmaids star and Emmy Award winner Maya Rudolph will extend her run as ‘Mary Todd Lincoln’ in Cole Escola's Oh, Mary! by two weeks. She will now remain in the role at the Lyceum Theatre on Broadway through July 5.
Escola’s hit comedy shows another side to the former First Lady, positioning her as a repressed alcoholic who is desperate to achieve her dream of life as a cabaret star. The play is set in the weeks leading up to the assassination of her husband Abraham Lincoln. Sam Pinkleton directs.
Rudolph, who is best known for her seven-year tenure on Saturday Night Live, stars alongside Phillip James Brannon, Cheyenne Jackson, Bianca Leigh, and Tony Macht.
