'Titanique' extends a fourth time, announces new cast members
The new cast members of the Off-Broadway Titanic parody musical, which currently plays the Daryl Roth Theatre, will begin their runs in the show on June 6.
Some new passengers are boarding the Ship of Dreams! The hit Off-Broadway musical Titanique has announced new cast members, who will begin their runs on June 6 at the Daryl Roth Theatre.
Titanique is a campy parody on James Cameron's blockbuster Titanic film, in which Celine Dion hijacks a Titanic museum tour to share her own zany take on what really happened to Jack and Rose. The musical is set to Dion's greatest hits, including "Tell Him," "All By Myself," and the iconic Titanic theme, "My Heart Will Go On." New York Theatre Guide called the show "a boatload of campy fun" in a four-star Titanique review.
The new cast members joining the production include Nicole Parker as Céline Dion, Lindsay Heather Pearce as Rose, Michael Williams as Jack, Anthony Murphy as Victor Garber, and Brandon Contreras as Cal.
Parker and Williams replace Marla Mindelle (who won a Lucille Lortel Award for her performance) and Constantine Rousouli, respectively. Both are co-writers and original cast members of the show, which premiered in June 2022.
Pearce, Murphy, and Contreras replace Carrie St. Louis, Rosé, and Mark Evans, respectively.
Additionally, Titanique has extended a fourth time, with performances through January 7, 2024.
