'Titanique' sets new Off-Broadway casting
Three new actors will board the Ship of Dreams in the coming weeks in the award-winning musical parody of the Titanic movie, which has played since 2022.
All aboard! Three new cast members will join Titanique at the Daryl Roth Theatre this summer, joining the show as it celebrates its second anniversary off Broadway.
New cast members include Drama Desk Award nominee Lisa Howard as The Unsinkable Molly Brown and Grammy winner Nathan Lee Graham returning for his second run in the role of Ruth, both beginning on June 25. Additionally, Tommy Bracco will join as Victor Garber on July 11.
They replace current cast members Anne Fraser Thomas, Michael Di Liberto, and Elliott Mattox, respectively. Continuing cast members include Dee Roscioli as Céline Dion, Lindsay Heather Pearce as Rose, Michael Williams as Jack, Brandon Contreras as Cal, and Marcus Antonio as The Iceberg.
Co-created by Marla Mindelle, Constantine Rousouli, and Tye Blue and directed by Blue, Titanique is a musical parody of James Cameron's Titanic movie set to the hit songs of Céline Dion. In 2023, the show earned Lucille Lortel and Off-Broadway Alliance Awards for Best New Musical.
New York Theatre Guide's critic called Titanique "a boatload of campy fun."
