Marla Mindelle, Constantine Rousouli to return to 'Titanique'; show extends for two weeks
The co-creators and original stars of the multi-award-winning Off-Broadway musical will perform for the show's final month at the Daryl Roth Theatre.
Welcome back aboard! Marla Mindelle and Constantine Rousouli, co-creators and original stars of Titanique, will return to the Off-Broadway musical for its final month in New York City. Performances of the show at the Daryl Roth Theatre will now run through June 29, having extended for two additional weeks due to popular demand.
Mindelle and Rousouli will step back into the roles of Céline Dion and Jack Dawson, respectively, on June 3. Titanique is a parody adaptation of James Cameron's Titanic film, in which Dion narrates her own zany version of what really happened to Jack and Rose. The musical features a score of Dion's hit songs like "My Heart Will Go On," "All By Myself," and "Tell Him."
The current Titanique cast includes Amber Ardolino as Céline Dion, Cassadee Pope as Rose Dewitt Bukater, Max Jenkins as Jack Dawson, Lea DeLaria as Ruth Dewitt Bukater, Andrew Keenan-Bolger as Victor Garber/Luigi, Lisa Howard as The Unsinkable Molly Brown, Callum Francis as Cal, and Kyle Ramar Freeman as The Iceberg, alongside Jamir Brown, Rae Davenport, Tess Marshall, Barnaby Reiter, and Cassidy Stoner.
Ardolino and Jenkins will play their final performances on June 1. Additionally, Keenan-Bolger will end his run on May 11, and DeLaria and Howard on May 25. Brad Greer, Drew Droege, and Anne Fraser Thomas will return to the roles of Victor, Ruth, and Molly, respectively.
Running in New York since 2022, Titanique is co-created by Mindelle, Rousouli, and Tye Blue, who also directs. The show won Best Musical honors at the Lucille Lortel and Off-Broadway Alliance Awards, and Mindelle won the Lucille Lortel and Obie Awards for her performance.
