Sarah Hyland and Sadie Dickerson will join the cast of Just in Time on Broadway this fall, starring alongside Tony Award winner Jonathan Groff as Bobby Darin at the Circle in the Square Theatre.
Dickerson makes her Broadway debut in the role of Sandra Dee beginning September 16. Modern Family star Hyland will play Connie Francis from October 8. She previously starred as Daisy Buchanan in The Great Gatsby on Broadway and Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors off Broadway.
The actresses will respectively replace original cast members Erika Henningsen and Tony nominee Gracie Lawrence. Henningsen plays her final performance as Sandra Dee on September 14, and Lawrence as Connie Francis on October 5.
Continuing with the cast, alongside Groff, are Emily Bergl as Nina/Mary, Michele Pawk as Polly, Joe Barbara as Steve Blauner and others, Lance Roberts as Ahmet Ertegun and others, and Caesar Samayoa as Don Kirchner and others.
Just in Time follows the life and career of 20th-century pop star Bobby Darin, known for hits like "Splish Splash" and "Mack the Knife." The Circle in the Square has been transformed to resemble an old-fashioned nightclub, with the story unfolding among the audience in an intimate setting with a big band.
