Look out, Johnny's back! Jonathan Groff, a 2024 Tony Award winner for Merrily We Roll Along, is already back on Broadway in Just in Time, a new musical about the life and career of 20th-century music icon Bobby Darin.
In his 37 short years, Darin went from a teen idol to a global pop sensation with songs like "Splish Splash," "Dream Lover," and "Mack the Knife." Just in Time transforms the Circle in the Square Theatre into a 1950s nightclub, recreating the atmosphere of seeing Darin live decades ago.
Alongside Groff as Darin are Erika Henningsen as Sandra Dee, Gracie Lawrence as Connie Francis, Emily Bergl as Nina/Mary, Michele Pawk as Polly, Joe Barbara as Steve Blauner and others, Lance Roberts as Ahmet Ertegun and others, and Caesar Samayoa as Don Kirchner and others.
