Social media creator Cyrus Veyssi will make their Broadway debut in & Juliet this fall, playing the role of May from October 13 to December 6 only.

Veyssi was named one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential Creators in 2025 for their beauty, wellness, lifestyle, and culture content across social platforms. In & Juliet, they will succeed current cast member Michael Iván Carrier.

“Little Cyrus’ dream has always been Broadway, since the moment I did my first show in kindergarten to the countless trips to NYC squeezing in as many shows as possible into my itinerary,” Veyssi said in a statement. “I’m honored and humbled to join such a remarkable cast and crew, and to play the role of sweet May, a character whose journey is close to my heart.”

The current & Juliet cast also includes Gianna Harris as Juliet, Joey Fatone and Paulo Szot alternating as Lance, Alison Luff as Anne, Corey Mach as Shakespeare, Jeannette Bayardelle as Angelique, Anthony Gargiula as François, Spencer Sutherland as Romeo, and Kenzie Ziegler as Charmion.

As previously announced, & Juliet will end its four-plus-year Broadway run on January 3. The musical starts at the end of Shakespeare's classic tragedy — but with a fresh start for Juliet, who puts down the dagger and seeks out life and love after Romeo, all to a score of 30 pop hits from the Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, Kelly Clarkson, and more.
