Chrissy Metz will make her Broadway debut in & Juliet this summer, performing as Angelique from June 18 to September 13 only.

“I’m so excited to be making my Broadway debut, and to do it in a show that is this joyful feels like an absolute dream come true,” Metz said. “I think some of the hardest working, most creative people work in live theatre and well, Broadway scares me to bits, which is why I have always wanted to do it. Pray for me!”

Metz is best known for her Emmy and Golden Globe Award-nominated performance as Kate Pearson on NBC's This Is Us, and she made her stage debut in a 2017 benefit reading of Neil LaBute’s Fat Pig for MCC Theater.

Continuing cast members include Gianna Harris as Juliet, Alison Luff as Anne, Drew Gehling as Shakespeare, James Monroe Iglehart as Lance, Michael Iván Carrier as May, Liam Pearce as Romeo, and Nathan Levy as François.

In & Juliet, the end of Shakespeare's classic tragedy is only the beginning for its heroine. Juliet decides not to die with Romeo and sets off to Paris for a fresh start in life and love, and her adventure is set to 30 chart-topping pop hits by artists like Britney Spears, the Backstreet Boys, Kelly Clarkson, and many more.
