They're going way down Hadestown! Hadestown on Broadway will welcome an all-new principal cast beginning September 2 at the Walter Kerr Theatre.

The new cast members include Disney star Morgan Dudley as Eurydice, Grammy Award winner Kurt Elling as Hermes, Broadway veteran Rebecca Naomi Jones as Persephone, Tony Award winner Paulo Szot as Hades, and West End breakout star Jack Wolfe as Orpheus. (Wolfe will not perform from September 9-21.)

They replace current cast members Myra Molloy, Daniel Breaker, Lana Gordon, Phillip Boykin, and Ali Louis Bourzgui, respectively. Marla Louissaint, Jessie Shelton, and Kay Trinidad continue as the Fates.

Anaïs Mitchell’s jazz-folk adaptation of Greek mythology centers on two love stories: those of Orpheus and Eurydice, and underworld gods Hades and Persephone. Now in its sixth year on Broadway since opening in 2019, Hadestown is the winner of eight Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
