J. Harrison Ghee stars as Hermes in Hadestown on Broadway at the Walter Kerr Theatre from March 3, 2026.
Ghee is known for their performance as Jerry/Daphne in Some Like It Hot, for which they won the 2023 Tony Award for Best Leading Actor in a Musical, becoming one of the first non-binary performers to win a Tony alongside Alex Newell that year. Additional Broadway roles include Lola in Kinky Boots and Andre Mayem in Mrs. Doubtfire, plus Black Jesus in Saturday Church off Broadway.
A rising musical theatre star, Ghee has also been seen on the small screen in High Maintenance and Raising Dion.
