She's livin' it up on top — again! Allison Russell will return to the cast of Hadestown on Broadway, beginning performances on December 16 at the Walter Kerr Theatre.
Russell previously made her Broadway debut as Persephone in November 2024, and she will return to the same role, succeeding Rebecca Naomi Jones after her final performance on December 14. Russell is a Grammy Award-winning Americana and roots singer best known for her critically acclaimed albums Outside Child and The Returner.
The current Hadestown Broadway cast also includes Jack Wolfe as Orpheus, Kurt Elling as Hermes, Paulo Szot as Hades, Morgan Dudley as Eurydice, and Marla Louissaint, Jessie Shelton, and Kay Trinidad as the Fates.
