Taylor Trensch's best-known Broadway credit is the title role of Dear Evan Hansen, and he has also performed in shows including Floyd Collins (Tony Award nomination), Hello, Dolly!, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Matilda the Musical, Wicked, To Kill a Mockingbird, and Camelot. He also performed off Broadway in shows like Rent and The Seven Year Disappear, opposite Cynthia Nixon.
