
Scott Bakula stars as Aimable Castagnet in The Baker's Wife off Broadway at Classic Stage Company from October 23 to December 14, 2025.
Since making his Broadway debut in Is there life after high school?, Bakula played Joe DiMaggio in Marilyn: An American Fable and earned a Tony Award nomination for starring in Romance/Romance. Off Broadway, he headlined the world-premiere Jason Robert Brown musical The Connector in 2024 and earned a 1985 Drama Desk Award nomination for Best Ensemble Acting, alongside his cast, for Three Guys Naked from the Waist Down. He's appeared in numerous other theatre productions across the U.S. at venues like the Hollywood Bowl, San Diego's Old Globe, and Ford's Theater in Washington, D.C.
Bakula is best known, however, for playing Sam Beckett on Quantum Leap, earning three Golden Globe nominations (winning one) and four Emmy nominations, and Bob Black in the Liberace biopic Behind the Candelabra, earning another Emmy nomination. Additional high-profile TV roles include Dwayne Cassius "King" Pride on NCIS: New Orleans and Captain Jonathan Archer on Star Trek: Enterprise.
