Laura Bell Bundy

Laura Bell Bundy stars as Romy White in Romy & Michele: The Musical off Broadway at Stage 42 from October 14, 2025.

Bundy is best known for originating the roles of Elle Woods in the Legally Blonde Broadway musical (Tony Award nomination) and Amber von Tussle in the Hairspray Broadway musical. Additionally, she has performed as Glinda in Wicked and Sylvia in The Cottage, also both on Broadway. Before gaining Broadway fame, she appeared in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular and played the lead role of Tina Denmark in the musical Ruthless! off Broadway (Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle Award nominations), both at age 9.

On screen, Bundy played young Sarah Whittle in the 1995 Jumanji movie, Marah Lewis on Guiding Light from 1998-2001, and Becky in How I Met Your Mother and How I Met Your Father. Also a musician, she has released six studio albums, with her most popular songs being the country singles "Giddy On Up" and "Drop on By."
