Live Nation, The Araca Group and EBG (Entertainment Benefits Group) have today announced a new partnership with the intention to "bring a variety of artists to Broadway venues multiple times each year." This new venture launches this spring with In Residence on Broadway at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, set to run from May to July 2019.

Performers for the debut concert series will be announced in the coming weeks, however, we do know that each artist will play a limited residency of 5 to 10 shows over a period of 1 to 2 weeks. The previously announced Broadway debut residency of Morrissey will play seven shows between May 2 and May 11, 2019.

Scott Zeiger of EBG commented: "We established In Residence on Broadway as an opportunity for artists to bring their talents to a true Broadway stage in New York, which will be a special experience for fans. The amazing team of designers will create customized stage experiences to reflect each artist's signature style."

The aforementioned Tony-nominated creative team includes lighting design by Mike Baldassari, and sound design by Peter Hylenski and Garth Helm.

Recent Broadway residencies have included Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons on Broadway (October 2012 at the Broadway Theatre and October 2016 at the Lunt-Fontanne), Kristin Chenoweth: My Love Letter to Broadway (which played the Lunt-Fontanne in November 2016) and, of course, the hugely successful Springsteen on Broadway, playing an extended, sold-out run at Broadway's Walter Kerr Theatre from October 2017 to December 2018. Bruce Springsteen was also honored with a Special Tony Award at The 72nd Annual Tony Awards ceremony on June 10, 2019, in celebration of his record-breaking Broadway debut engagement.

Stay tuned for details on this spring's performers in the coming weeks.
