'Now You See Me Live' to play limited holiday run on Broadway

The illusion show, inspired by the same-named film franchise, makes its NYC debut after acclaimed runs in Australia, Singapore, and England.

Abracadabra! The all-ages illusion show Now You See Me Live will make its New York City debut for an eight-week limited engagement this holiday season. Performances will take place at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre from November 11 to January 3.

The stage production is inspired by the Now You See Me film franchise, centered on the exploits of a world-class magician team called the Four Horsemen. Starring as the quartet on Broadway are escapologist Gabriella Lester, illusionists James More and Darcy Oake, and mentalist Matthew Pomeroy.

Now You See Me Live is presented by Tim Lawson and Simon Painter (The Illusionists) in collaboration with Lionsgate. Lawson and Adam Trent co-created the show, and Painter is a creative producer.

The team also features creative and staging director Ash Jacks McCready, creative director Kirsty White, illusion designer Enzo Wenye, lighting designer Hugo Mercier-Bosseny, composer Evan Duffy, and creative consultant Jenefer Brown.

Before coming to NYC, Now You See Me Live played acclaimed runs in Australia, Singapore, and London's West End. Its Broadway stop is part of an ongoing world tour.
