Following its recent departure from the Greenwhich House TheaterBarrow Street Theatricals returns off-Broadway this December with the American premiere of Nassim, to be staged at New York City Center's Stage II. Previews begin on December 6, 2018, ahead of an official opening on December 12 and a limited run through to April 20, 2019.

The production is written by Iranian playwright Nassim Soleimanpour and directed by Omar Elerian. His first play White Rabbit Red Rabbit ran for more than nine months at the Westside Theatre and was performed by such guest stars as Whoopi Goldberg, Nathan Lane and many others.

Nassim explores imaginative storytelling by challenging traditional theatrical forms. There are no rehearsals for the production, and there is a different guest actor at every performance. This show is set to explore the power of language that unites the public during uncertain times in current affairs and politics.

The show received its world premiere at the Bush Theatre in London in 2017. It received rave reviews with British newspaper The Guardian calling it "a striking demonstration of how words can keep us apart but also bring us together".
