Outer Critics Circle: Robert Cuccioli and Laila Robins



Outer Critics Circle, the organization of writers covering New York theatre for out-of-town newspapers, national publications and other media beyond Broadway, reports that Broadway veterans Robert Cuccioli and Laila Robins will publicly announce the nominees for the 2012-13 season on 22 Apr 2013 at the Friars Club in New York City.

Outer Critics Circle will post award nominations in 23 categories and are the first major Broadway/Off-Broadway award nominees of the New York theater season.

Robert Cuccioli Cuccioli gained international fame for creating the dual role of "Jekyll & Hyde" in the Broadway premiere of the namesake musical and currently playing dual roles on Broadway as 'Norman Osborn' and 'The Green Goblin' in 'Spider-Man: Turn of the Dark.'

Laila Robins won critical acclaim last season in the title role in Edward Albee's 'The Lady from Dubuque,' and this season as a family member in the Richard Nelson Trilogy 'Sorry' at The Public Theater.

Celebrating its 63rd season of bestowing awards of excellence in the field of theater, the Outer Critics Circle is an association with members affiliated with more than ninety newspapers, magazines, radio and television stations, Internet, and theatre publications in America and abroad.

The winners of the Outer Critics Circle Awards will be announced on 13 May 2013 and the annual awards ceremony will be held on 23 May 2013 at Sardi's Restaurant.
