The 2026 Olivier Awards, the highest honor in London theatre equivalent to NYC's Tony Awards, were held on April 12, and they're filled with stars, smashes, snubs, and surprises. But most importantly, they're filled with productions that were so successful in London, they're making the leap to NYC.

So if you wished you could see Olivier winner Rosamund Pike in Inter Alia or one of the many rotating stars in Every Brilliant Thing, you now have a chance to catch them stateside. Check out all the Olivier-winning and -nominated productions you can see on and off Broadway this year — plus a few juggernauts we hope will announce an NYC transfer soon.

Oh, Mary!

The success of Cole Escola's Oh, Mary! in NYC launched it to London, where it won Best New Entertainment or Comedy Play. You can still catch the show on Broadway, currently starring John Cameron Mitchell as a lusty, cabaret-obsessed Mary Todd Lincoln and Barbie's Simu Liu as Mary's Teacher.

Kenrex

Straight from its Olivier-winning premiere, this Best New Play nominee tells the shocking true story of Ken Rex McElroy, a Missouri criminal never brought to justice. Best Actor Olivier winner Jack Holden and Best Director nominee Ed Stambollouian reprise their roles for the Off-Broadway transfer this spring.

Every Brilliant Thing

This interactive solo show, nominated for Best New Entertainment or Comedy Play, featured a rotating lineup of celebs in the role of a person who tracks life's small joys to cheer up their depressed mom. The Broadway transfer, now in performances, features just one star: Tony Award winner Daniel Radcliffe (through May 24, after which he'll be succeeded by Mariska Hargitay). Oh, and you, of course, should you volunteer.

Inter Alia

In 2023, Jodie Comer won Olivier and Tony Awards for starring in Suzie Miller's legal drama Prima Facie in London and then on Broadway. Now, it's Rosamund Pike's turn to shine in Inter Alia, Miller's latest play that earned an Olivier nod for Best New Play and a win for Pike as Best Actress.

In fall 2026, Inter Alia will follow in Prima Facie's footsteps by transferring to NYC, playing the Music Box Theatre from November 10 and marking Pike's broadway debut.

Much Ado About Nothing

There's much ado about Marvel stars Tom Hiddleston and Hayley Atwell reprising their London performances as Benedick and Beatrice in Shakespeare's enemies-to-lovers comedy on Broadway. Most recently, the ado was for Jamie Lloyd's production being nominated for Best Revival and Hiddleston being up for Best Actor.

Paddington The Musical

We can't bear the thought of not getting Paddington The Musical on Broadway — but with near-universal rave reviews and seven Olivier wins including Best New Musical, we're optimistic it has a long journey ahead. Producer Sonia Friedman revealed she wants to bring this little bear to the Big Apple in 2027, but no plans are confirmed yet.

Evita

Every Jamie Lloyd production is an event, no more so than Evita, in which Olivier nominee Rachel Zegler sang "Don't Cry For Me Argentina" for the London public on the London Palladium balcony. We don't know how the Olivier-nominated revival would adapt that stunt for NYC, but we hope we'll find out. There's been an Evita ad on 44th Street for months — maybe that means something.
