Merry Wives of Windsor at the Lion Theatre

The Oberon Theatre Ensemble kicksoff its 10th Anniversary Season by presenting The Merry Wives of Windsor, by William Shakespeare, at Theatre Row's Lion Theatre from 8 - 29 Mar 2007.

The Merry Wives of Windsor runs in repertoire with Sweet Love Adieu by Ryan J-W Smith.

The Merry Wives of Windsor: Shakespeare's 'desperate' housewives are actually quite mischievous, crafty and cunning. When John Falstaff (think: wannabe faded rock and roll royalty) tries to woo, seduce and con these women for all they're worth (which is quite a lot), the ladies quickly realize what he's up to and come up with a plan or two of their own. A combination of comedy, cross-dressing and gentle morality tale

Directed by Brad Fryman, The Merry Wives of Windsor features Hendy Anderson, Walter Brandes, Mac Brydon, Brad Fryman, John Gardner, William Laney, Vincent LoRusso, Matt Miniea, Linda S. Nelson, Stu Richel, Zak Risinger, Kate Ross, Mary Sheridan, Laura Siner, M. Eden Teagle, Joseph Tomasini, Ryan Tramont, Stewart Walker and Mickey Zetts.
