Lucille Lortel Awards: Samantha Bee & Zach Braff

Samantha Bee from "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart" and Zach Braff of "Scrubs" and "Garden State" are to co-host the Ceremony for the 26th Annual Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway which will be held on 1 May 2011 at the Skirball Center for the Performing Arts.

This year's presenters include Kevin Kline, Olympia Dukakis, Blythe Danner, AnnaLynne McCord, Natasha Lyonne, Hilarie Burton, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Annabella Sciorra, Kelly Rutherford, Michael T. Weiss, Mike Birbiglia, Lily Rabe, Josh Hamilton, Matthew Settle, Ron Rifkin, T.V. Carpio, Valerie Harper, Arian Moayed, Terrence McNally, Anson Mount, Anthony Rapp, Sanjaya Malakar, Tammy Blanchard, Kate Shindle, Billy Porter, Seth Numrich, Christopher Hanke, Jeremy Strong and Patina Miller.

This ceremony will once again be a benefit for The Actors Fund. In existence for more than 125 years, The Actors Fund is the only nationwide human services organization that helps all professionals in the performing arts and entertainment. The Fund is a safety net, providing programs and services for those who are in need, crisis or transition.

The nominations for the 26th Annual Lucille Lortel Awards were announced on 31 Mar 2011, which was the official date that the 2010 - 2011 Off-Broadway season ends.

The Lortel Awards recognize excellence Off-Broadway by honoring the contribution of artists to the theatre community.
