Welcome back, old sport! Jeremy Jordan will return to The Great Gatsby on Broadway this fall, stepping back into the musical at the Broadway Theatre starting November 10.
Jordan is known for his Tony Award-nominated performance in Newsies, other Broadway roles in Bonnie & Clyde and Floyd Collins, and screen roles in Supergirl, Smash, and Hazbin Hotel. He originated the title role of Jay Gatsby in The Great Gatsby's world-premiere run at New Jersey's Paper Mill Playhouse and for the Broadway transfer in spring 2024.
Current star Ryan McCartan assumed the role from Jordan earlier this year, and he will play his final performance November 9 as previously announced. The Great Gatsby Broadway cast also includes Aisha Jackson as Daisy Buchanan, Michael Maliakel as Nick Carraway, Samantha Pauly as Jordan Baker, Linedy Genao as Myrtle Wilson, Austin Colby as Tom Buchanan, Charlie Pollock as George Wilson, and Eric Anderson as Meyer Wolfsheim.
Adapted from F. Scott Fitzgerald's 1925 novel — celebrating its 100th anniversary this year — The Great Gatsby follows a mysterious millionaire obsessed with winning back his former lover, the married socialite Daisy Buchanan.
