Terrence Mann to join 'The Great Gatsby' Broadway cast
The Tony Award nominee will play a limited engagement in the Tony-winning musical adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel, which turns 100 in 2025.
Three-time Tony Award-nominated actor Terrence Mann will join the cast of The Great Gatsby tickets this winter, playing a limited engagement in the show at the Broadway Theatre from January 8 to April 20, 2025.
Mann was nominated for his Broadway performances in Beauty and the Beast, Pippin, and Les Misérables, and he has appeared in more than 10 additional Broadway shows. In The Great Gatsby, he will take over the role of Wolfsheim from current and original cast member Eric Anderson.
The current cast of The Great Gatsby also includes Jeremy Jordan as Jay Gatsby, Eva Noblezada as Daisy Buchanan, Noah J. Ricketts as Nick Carraway, Samantha Pauly as Jordan Baker, Sara Chase as Myrtle Wilson, John Zdrojeski as Tom Buchanan, and Charlie Pollock as George Wilson. As previously announced, Ryan McCartan will play Gatsby beginning January 21.
Winner of the 2024 Tony Award for Best Costume Design, The Great Gatsby transports audiences back to the 1920s for the story of Jay Gatsby, a mysterious millionaire who's obsessed with winning back Daisy Buchanan, a married socialite and his former flame.
F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel, on which the musical is based, turns 100 in 2025, and the show will host a special performance and afterparty on January 16 in celebration of the anniversary.
