In Good King Charles's Golden Days: Imagine this: it's 1680 and you're in Isaac Newton's house. In walks King Charles II in hot pursuit by all of his mistresses, including the notorious Nell Gwyn. What follows is a tremendous send-up of philosophy, playwriting, acting and an iconic argument bracing Science against the Arts.

Directed by David Staller, In Good King Charles's Golden Days features Pamela Paul (Mrs. Basham), Ed Dixon (Isaac Newton), Graham Rowat (George Fox), Daniel Jenkins (King Charles II), Nancy Anderson (Nell Gwynn), Jenn Thompson (Barbara Villiers, Duchess of Cleveland), Hannah Cabell (Louise de Kerouaille, Duchess of Portsmouth), Jack Koenig (James, Duke of York), Bill Kux (Godfrey Kneller), Mary Bacon (Queen Catherine of Braganza) and Alexis Soloski (Narrator & Sally).

Project Shaw is Gingold Theatrical Group's on going project to present to New York audiences every sketch, full-length and one-act play written by George Bernard Shaw.
