François Arnaud and David Corenswet will make their Broadway debuts alongside Yvonne Strahovski in a revival of the 1997 drama Three Days of Rain, starting performances in February 2027 at a theatre to be announced.

In Three Days of Rain, a famous architect’s death leaves the next generation wondering about the truth of their family’s history. Act 1 centers on the reading of the will by the architect and his business partner’s children, while Act 2 travels back in time and sees the same actors play the partners and the woman caught between them.

The play, written by Richard Greenberg, was nominated for the 1998 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

Arnaud (Heated Rivalry, Schitt’s Creek) plays Pip/Theo, Corenswet (Superman) is Walker/Ned, and Strahovski (two-time Emmy Award nominee for The Handmaid’s Tale; Dexter) is Nan/Lina. Anna D. Shapiro directs the production, and more creative team members have yet to be announced.

Three Days of Rain debuted off Broadway in 1997 (Drama Critics' Circle Award Runner-Up, Best American Play) and later ran on Broadway for a limited engagement in spring 2006, starring Bradley Cooper and Julia Roberts in their Broadway debuts alongside Paul Rudd. The play is unrelated to the 2002 film of the same name.

Three Days of Rain is truly one of the most beautiful plays I’ve ever done or experienced," Shapiro said in a statement. "Steeped in the brilliantly funny and enchantingly complex world of Richard Greenberg, the story follows two generations of New York intelligentsia as they navigate the burden of family, the seduction of art and the necessity of love over time and eternity.”
