Atlantic reveals cast of On the Shore of the Wide World

Atlantic Theater Company has announced casting for the upcoming New York premiere of Simon Stephens' On the Shore of the Wide World - the first production of Atlantic's 2017-2018 season, which is directed by Neil Pepe and begin previews at the Linda Gross Theater on August 23, 2017, before an official opening on September 12 and a limited engagement through to October 8, 2017.

The cast of On the Shore of the Wide World includes Tony winner Blair Brown (as Ellen Holmes), Odiseas Georgiadis (as Paul Danzinger), Peter Maloney (as Charlie Holmes), Mary McCann (as Alice Holmes), LeRoy McClain (as John Robinson), Tedra Millan (as Sarah Black), Ben Rosenfield (as Alex Holmes), Luke Slattery (as Christopher Holmes), C.J. Wilson (as Peter Holmes) and Amelia Workman (as Susan Reynolds).

Synopsis: "In Simon Stephens' Olivier Award-winning play, something is about to happen that will change one family forever. Set over the course of nine months, On the Shore of the Wide World is a play about love, family, Roy Keane and the size of the galaxy."

The creative team behind On the Shore of the Wide World has also been announced and features scenic design by Scott Pask, costume design by Sarah Laux, lighting design by Christopher Akerlind, and original music and sound design by David Van Tieghem.
