Tyne Daly

Tyne Daly is an American actress known for her extensive work on both stage and screen. Her notable stage credits include performances in Broadway productions such as Gypsy (Tony Award win), Rabbit Hole (Tony nomination), Mothers and Sons (Tony nomination), and Master Class, among others.

On screen, Daly has appeared in various television shows and films, gaining recognition for her roles in the long-running series Cagney & Lacey, which earned her four Emmy Awards, the legal drama Judging Amy, and the drama Christy. She won an Emmy for each of those shows as well.
