Marc Summers

Marc Summers stars in The Life and Slimes of Marc Summers off Broadway at New World Stages through June 2, 2024.

Summers is best known for hosting the Emmy Award-nominated family game show Double Dare on Nickelodeon from 1986-93. He later hosted two revamps of the show, Super Sloppy Double Dare and Family Double Dare, in the late '80s and early '90s. The Life and Slimes of Marc Summers is partly inspired by Double Dare, as creator/star Summers hosts interactive game show challenges in between sharing stories from his life.

Summers is also known for his work with the Food Network. He hosted the show Unwrapped and its spinoff Trivia Unwrapped, and he executive produced the shows Dinner: Impossible and Restaurant: Impossible.
