Laura Marano makes her stage debut as Logainne Schwartzandgrubenierre in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee off Broadway at New World Stages from June 24, 2026.
Marano is best known for her breakout role as Ally Dawson on Disney Channel's Austin & Ally, which ran for four seasons. Additional TV projects include the police procedural Without a Trace, the sitcom Back to You, and the Disney Channel Original Movie Bad Hair Day.
Additional film credits include Lady Bird, The War with Grandpa, and Superbad, and Netflix's The Perfect Date (Teen Choice Award), Choose Love, The Royal Treatment, and Saving Zoë. Marano was a producer on the latter two in addition to starring.
Additionally, Marano was one of the five original classmates in Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?
