Jon Michael Hill earned a 2025 Tony Award nomination for starring as Nazareth "Naz" Jasper in Purpose on Broadway in 2025. His Broadway debut was in Superior Donuts, and he joined the Steppenwolf Theatre Company ensemble in 2007. His many credits at that Chicago theatre institution include the pre-Broadway world premiere of Purpose, Leroy and Lucy, True West, and Pass Over.
