Brent Thiessen makes his Broadway debut as John Perry and others in Beaches on Broadway at the Majestic Theatre from March 27 to September 6, 2026. He reprises the role he originated in the show's 2024 premiere at Theatre Calgary in Alberta, Canada.
Thiessen is primarily known for his work in Canadian theatre, having originated the role of Trevor Graydon in the Canadian premiere of Thoroughly Modern Millie and played other major roles like Gaston in Beauty and the Beast, Doctor Craven in The Secret Garden, and Buddy in Elf in productions across the country.
He also starred as Edward Lewis in the original Broadway touring company of Pretty Woman: The Musical and performed on screen in the sketch comedy series Royal Canadian Air Farce for Canada's 150th anniversary.
