Growing from childhood friends to penpals to roommates to romantic rivals, they learn to stand by each other's side, and how much they've come to need one another — especially during life's hardest tests.

A story of love, resilience, and the bonds of sisterhood, Beaches in New York is a joy-filled musical with a trove of new songs written for these shining actresses' sterling voices. Emmy winner and Tony nominee Lonny Price and Matt Cowart direct this new musical, which features a book by Iris Rainer Dart (who wrote the bestselling novel) and Thom Thomas, developed in collaboration with David Austin. Mike Stoller (music) and Dart (lyrics) contribute the score.
