Andrew Scott is a multi-award-winning Irish actor. His best-known screen roles include the Hot Priest on the TV show Fleabag (Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series, Golden Globe nomination), Moriarty on the TV show Sherlock (BAFTA Television Award for Best Supporting Actor), and Adam in the film All of Us Strangers (Golden Globe nomination). He also earned an Emmy nomination for leading an episode of the Netflix show Black Mirror.
Scott is also a veteran theatre actor, having won two Olivier Awards in London for his performances in A Girl in a Car with a Man and Present Laughter. He earned two additional nominations for starring in Hamlet and Vanya, a one-man adaptation of Anton Chekhov's Uncle Vanya for which Scott received critical acclaim.
In New York, he appeared in The Vertical Hour on Broadway in 2006 and reprised his Vanya performance off Broadway in 2025.
