Nymph Errant: Prospect announces cast



Prospect Theater Company have announced the cast for their upcoming production of Cole Porter's 1933 musical Nymph Errant opening at Theatre Row's Clurman Theater on 12 Jul 2012, following previews from 7 Jul 2012, and running through to 29 Jul 2012.

Directed by Will Pomerantz, the cast will feature Tony winner Cady Huffman (Ulla in The Producers) will play the roles of 'Ms. Pratt,' 'Clarissa' and 'Mrs. Bamberg'). Joining her are Sara Jayne Blackmore as 'Henrietta,' Jennifer Blood as 'Evangeline Edwards,' Laura Cook as 'Joyce,' Amy Jo Jackson as 'Bertha', Aubrey Sinn as 'Madeline,' Andrew Brewer, Natalie E. Carter, Abe Goldfarb and Sorab Wadia.

Nymph Errant: From a Swiss boarding school to an Austrian nudist colony to a Turkish harem, follow the unlikely adventures of young Evangeline Edwards as she enters the world and seeks her true passion.

With music and lyrics by Cole Porter, Nymph Errant is adapted and will be presented with a new libretto by Rob Urbinati based on the novel by James Laver and the original libretto by Romney Brent.

The creative team includes set design by Brian Prather, costumes by Whitney Locher, lighting by Cory Pattak and sound by Andy Leviss.
