Derren Brown: Secret begins performances on Broadway

The Broadway premiere of Derren Brown: Secret is set for an official opening on September 15, 2019 at the Cort Theatre.

Get ready for your minds to be blown, New York! British mentalist and illusionist Derren Brown officially makes his Broadway debut at the Cort Theatre tonight with the Broadway premiere of Derren Brown: Secret. The production is set for an official opening on September 15, 2019, and a 17-week limited engagement through January 4, 2020.

Synopsis: "From stage to screen, two-time Olivier Award winner Derren Brown has mesmerized millions worldwide with his unique brand of mind reading, persuasion, and psychological illusion. Now, for the first time ever, this U.K. phenomenon and Netflix star brings his talents to Broadway."

Secret is co-written by Derren BrownAndy Nyman and Andrew O'Connor, with direction by Nyman and O' Connor, and was previously staged off-Broadway in the spring of 2017 at Atlantic Theater Company. It went on to win the 2018 Drama Desk Award for "Unique Theatrical Experience."

Derren Brown: Secret features scenic design by Takeshi Kata, lighting design by Ben Stanton, sound design by Jill BC Du Boff, projection design by Caite Hevner and is produced on Broadway by J.J. Abrams, Thomas Kail, and Jeffrey Seller.

Derren Brown: Secret Tickets are available now for performances through January 4, 2020.
