Bacharach To The Future premier perf to benefit C/EFA, at New World Stages



POZ Magazine, the premier lifestyle, treatment and advocacy magazine for people living with�and those affected by � HIV and AIDS, will present the premier performance of Bacharach To The Future to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

The one night only event will be held on World AIDS Day, 1 Dec 2008, at New World Stages / Stage 3.

Bacharach To The Future will "honor composer and long time advocate for the fights against HIV/AIDS, Burt Bacharach. The evening will feature some of Broadway�sperformers singing classics from the Bacharach songbook including the 1985 recording of 'That�s What Friends Are For' which benefitted The Foundation for AIDS Research (amfAR). The 1 Dec 2008 marks the 40th anniversary of 'Promises, Promises,' Bacharach�s award-winning Broadway musical."
