The name on everybody's lips is gonna be... Ana. Ana Villafañe will play Roxie Hart in the reopening of Chicago on Broadway, with performances resuming at the Ambassador Theatre from September 14. Chicago tickets are on sale now.

Villafañe is best known for playing Gloria Estefan in On Your Feet on Broadway, as well as starring in productions of In The Heights and Collective Rage. On television, Villafañe has starred in Younger and Night Court.

Villafañe joins the previously announced cast of Chicago, including Bianca Marroquín as Velma Kelly, Lillias White as Matron "Mama" Morton, Raymond Bokhour as Amos Hart and Ryan Lowe as Mary Sunshine. Casting for the role of Billy Flynn is to be announced at a later date.

Chicago follows Roxie Hart as she hires a criminal lawyer to transform her dubious past into a series of sensational headlines. Since opening in 1996, Chicago has made history to become the longest-running Broadway musical revival of all time.

Chicago features a book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, music by John Kander and lyrics by Ebb. Walter Bobbie directs, with choreography by Ann Reinking, scenic design by John Lee Beatty, costume design by William Ivey Long, lighting design by Ken Billington and sound design by Scott Lehrer.

Chicago is at the Ambassador Theatre from September 14.
