Under my Skin: Tony nominee Kerry Butler to star
Kerry Butler, who was nominated for a Tony for her roles as 'Clio/Kira' in the musical 'Xanadu,' will star in the New York premiere of Robert Sternin and Prudence Fraser's comedy Under My Skin, directed by Kirsten Sanderson, opening at The Little Shubert Theatre on 15 May 2014, following previews from 05 Apr 2014, and closing on 06 Jul 2914.
Butler, who stars as 'Melody Dent', will be joined by Matt Walton as 'Harrison Baddish' and Megan Sikora as 'Nanette,' who are reprising the roles they originated in the world premiere of Under My Skin which played at the Pasadena Playhouse in California in Sep 2013.
Joining the cast for the New York production are Allison Strong as 'Casey', Kate Loprest and Andrew Polk.
Under My Skin: A twist of fate leads to New York's most eligible bachelor (Harrison Baddish) and a single, working mother (Melody Dent) experience each other's lives and see things from a very different perspective.
The cretive team features sets by Stephen Dobay, costumes by Lara de Bruijn, lighting by Driscoll Otto and sound by Janie Bullard.
The comedy is produced Off-Broadway by Marla McNally Phillips and co-producer Marcy Carsey.
Under My Skin had its world premiere production at the Pasadena Playhouse where it played from 11 Sep - 07 Oct 2014. Directed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge, the world premiere featured Erin Cardillo as 'Melody Dent.'
